It's a quote form a Salvatore's movie "Mediterraneo" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vS6AxGa1shE) and it means that mediterranean people are often very similar in thei way of seeing life and in their beahviours. In this post, with the metaphor of the pigs, it means that we (the Italians) are the next victims of FMI and world bank.
